Daily Care for Contact Lenses

Daily care of contact lenses takes up a lot of time, but they are a critical and indispensable part of the wearing process. Below, author to help you comb the correct steps and matters needing attention.

Contact lenses are divided into hard lenses and soft lenses. Hard lens matching is complicated, which needs to be checked and prepared in a professional eye hospital. Hard mirrors generally have special nursing fluid, which can be purchased in the hospital with mirrors, and the hard mirror nursing fluid and soft mirror nursing fluid can not be confused or mixed to use.

Soft mirrors are relatively common in the market, but both soft mirrors and nursing liquid belong to three types of medical devices, which belong to the unified supervision of the State Food and Drug Administration, and they need to hold relevant qualifications to produce and sell them.

The care of lenses is important because their work is more routine, that is to say, it must be timely care after each wear. After removing the lens from the eye, you can directly place the lens in the palm, drop the appropriate amount of nursing fluid, and gently rub with the finger abdomen of the right index finger. Because the edge of the lens is relatively thin, the direction of the finger force should be from the center to the periphery, the positive and negative sides should be rubbed for about 30 seconds, and then pick up the lens with small tweezers and rinse it with nursing liquid.

The cleaned lenses should be put back into the double box, soaked with two-thirds of the care solution, and removed for at least six hours later. When not wearing a mirror, the lens should be soaked in the nursing liquid for preservation, and replace the nursing liquid in the double box every two days, so as not to affect the disinfection effect. The double box is cleaned and disinfected once a week, and then air-dried naturally after scalding with boiling water. It is best to replace a new double box every three months.

Contact lenses in the process of wearing is easy to cause protein, lipid deposition and the formation of precipitation substances, in addition to daily throwing, daily wearing glasses must pay attention to lens care, otherwise it may cause blurred vision, corneal hypoxia, eye infection and other problems.
